Jason Ketchens has extensive experience, as both outside and in-house counsel, advising companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to international banks to family owned firms in a wide variety of industries.
Among matters on which Jason provides advice are mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate governance, SaaS and other technology agreements, sales and supply contracts, intellectual property licensing, partnership and joint venture agreements and the resolution of commercial disputes.
Previously, Jason served as general counsel to a payment processing and technology solutions joint venture of two large banks, addressing a broad range of subjects, including strategic planning, regulatory compliance, risk management, data security and privacy concerns, intellectual property development and protection, corporate communications, labor and employment issues and, on occasion, litigation. Jason also served as in-house counsel to the funds management division of an international investment bank, advising funds on a variety of matters, including real estate brokerage, purchase and leasing agreements, securities offering materials and debt financing facilities.
Representative client relationships include investment management firms, private equity portfolio companies, banks, family-owned businesses and multinational public corporations.
